When Daybreak first opened I knew it was going to be an awesome place to live so I moved here right away in 2005. It reminded me of the fun South Jordan neighborhood I grew up in as a kid, we had lots of activities. As a result, our family has loved participating and enjoying the Daybreak activities. My wife and I met dancing so one of our favorite Daybreak activities has been the dances. I'm a local native so I love the diversity of people living in Daybreak. I enjoy meeting others and hearing their life stories. My friends in high school nicknamed me 'Dancing Dave' and 'Utah Dave' and those names have just stuck. So when you see me be sure to say Hi! |

When I moved here 4 years ago, I wanted to be more involved with the community. I immediately joined the Programs Committee and took every opportunity to get involved with the various activites and meet all the wonderful people that live here. All the other people on the Community Council are awesome and I'm impressed with what we can all accomplish. My favorite event is the Moonlight Movie Series during the summer. I love the lake, the trails, and all the activities available here in Daybreak. |

I like to be volunteer because everybody on the Steering Committee is extraordinary. I like and admire all of them. For me, the best part of Daybreak is the summer with many events and activity. I especially enjoy the lake, kayak, sailboat, pool, and of course the amazing fitness group we have at DCC. |

We found Daybreak by accident in 2005, as we weren't looking to move. When we toured the model homes, my wife, Jen and I both knew we wanted to live here. Very soon afterward we bought our house and have enjoyed living here ever since. Jen joined the programs committee within one month of our move-in and she got me to join the next month. Through all of the activities and events, we've enjoyed being a part of Daybreak. I recommend getting involved to meet great neighbors and have fun planning many great events. |

Marci and Ed Potrich have only been at Daybreak for eight months, but have already become some of LiveDAYBREAK’s hardest working helpers. Marci is our connecting pillar chairperson, and she and Ed have pitched in at everything from meetings to the Garden Affair. "We believe that to volunteer here is a great opportunity to know more people, be a part of the decisions and help create a true community," Marci says. "If we want a great place to live, we must participate." Let the Potrichs know you appreciate their work next time you see them at an event.
