"I am a huge fan of the Daybreak gym. As a two-time Cancer survivor, doing everything I can to stay healthy is important to me. With six kids (including two with special needs) and lots of demands on my time, though, it isn't always easy to find time to work out. I've found that when I do I feel SO much better. My workouts keep me sane! I love the way they make me feel- less stressed, healthy, and maybe even younger! Since I began working out at the gym I have lost about 20 pounds- I'd love to lose more, but even if I never do I plan on continuing to work out. My favorite things about the gym are the great teachers/trainers and especially the friends that I have made. Thanks, guys!"

Janet has been attending my classes and many others for a dedicated amount of time now. She is always there with a smile and comes ready to work. She has a job schedule that compromises her sleeping time, yet knows how important exercising is to her health and it shows. A few months back we did a Biggest Loser challenge. Janet's body made a huge transition in a such a positive way. She has continued her hard work and motivation to keep on going. She is a loving mother to adopted children as well as her own. She is constantly helping in her community and is someone to get to know. I love seeing Janet in my classes because of her positivity and energy. Thank you Janet for making my job worthwhile. I enjoy our friendship in and out of class.

So as far as achieving my goals I can gladly say that even though I'm not all the way there yet, it's the whole process to get there that has been very rewarding. I've seen the changes not only in my physical appearance but also in my mind and emotions. My overall health has improved and I'm a better person and mom because of it. I would have to add how happy I am of the great friends I've met while coming here and how we have helped and supported each other to meet our goals. I LOVE it here, the instructors are GREAT and the environment is AWESOME!

She has such a fun and inspiring personality...it is contagious! She works hard and puts her all into every class! She is really pushing her fitness abilities to the next level, she always puts her max effort into each class (no matter how many dirty looks she flashes at me :))

This is what she said:
I am down 20 pounds since starting boot camp! I gained 9 pounds of muscle mass and lost 3% body fat and lost 15 inches overall!!!

This is what we said:
Amy is an extremely inspirational person. She motivates everyone around her with her positive attitude and her great energy she brings to class even at 5:30 in the morning. She pushes herself so hard and chooses to set and meet great goals every day in her workouts and help others in class to achieve theirs as well. She loves to workout and feel healthy. Amy had already achieved amazing goals in the past few months and will attain her future goals - I have no doubt. She needs the energy around her when she works out so her motivation to those around her while she screams and yells to others, "you can do it" and "let’s go guys" is an amazing attitude that I love in my Boot Camp classes. Thanks Amy for your spirit and attitude that help inspire and motivate everyone around you.

Deborah is such an amazing and positive person. She is committed to her workouts and she stays consistent no matter what is going on. She is such a great motivator and example to everyone who knows her! Keep up the great work Deborah!

When I consistently attend the fitness classes, my personal improvements are undeniable. Something else I’ve learned, don’t let vacations set you back, which I have done. In the future I will do more than just listen to the Instructors advice. They are more than willing to give suggestions on exercises you can do without having a gym available. No matter where you are you can do pushups, run stairs, lunges, use water bottles as weights, etc. Just as you plan to have fun on vacation, plan 15 minutes for exercise and stick to it! This is a goal I plan to achieve.

Each time I am consistent with attending the fitness classes, my whole being improves, small at first, but improvements nonetheless. I feel better inside and out. I love to look at my arms after a good workout! I love my classmates, we motivate one another. We laugh, grunt, moan and often have bed hair. We enjoy each others company. We challenge and inspire each other, compliment our successes and are understanding and give encouragement when we fall off the ‘exercise wagon’.

At almost 55 years old, a wife, and mother to an adult daughter, two teenage sons and three grandchildren, I want (and need) to be fit enough to keep up with my family. And yes, I secretly hope they struggle to keep up with me!

This is what she said:
I started to workout in 2010; all my kids were in school the whole day. (FINALLY!) I began with the morning step and pump classes, I didn’t know what I was doing but I was having fun. Before I knew it, the year was gone and I was still working out. It had become part of my daily routine. 2011 was here and I knew that I needed to make an additional lifestyle change to get the results that I wanted to see and feel. I made a change in my eating habits and I finally had the courage to take a boot camp class. It was tough and challenging, I loved it! Since starting boot camp with Kym, she has a non-runner, running, I’m finally able to do real pushups and I’m not afraid of her challenges. I’ve made eating right and working out a priority in my life and I love the changes (improvements) I’m seeing. My husband is also noticing and that feels really good. : )

Jen spent some time one day telling me her story. After having 5 children, Jen has made it a priority to make time for herself. Jen is committed to reaching her fitness goals by attending boot camp classes 3 times a week. I also see Jen at the gym on non-boot camp days working out. One of Jen's goals is to build her endurance. Within 2 weeks of working out Jen has shaved 30 seconds off her mile (she hadn't even ran a mile before her first week of boot camp and the second mile tested was on a slight uphill!). She was able to perform 2 more sit-ups and 4 more pushups after only 2 weeks of boot camp! Way to go Jen
